October Socks for Sock Knitters Anonymous Complete // Bring On November

Category : Featured, Fiber Arts

September 1st I challenged myself to knit a pair of socks a month following along with the Sock Knitters Anonymous group on Ravelry.  Here are my October socks:

Lots of Cables!

Lots of Cables!

Specs:

Pattern: Having Hope

Yarn: Trekking Pro Natura (Dark Grey Color)

Needles: #1US

Started: October 1, 2009

Completed: October 31, 2009

Notes: This was my first complete project with cables throughout.  It was a challenge and I learned lots of new things along the way.  One thing I did learn was how to do a Vikkel Braid which I really like!

Time to move on to November’s Socks.  Will post about those when I cast on.

Fair Winds, D
