Check out the World Wide Knit In Public Day (WWKP) site.  Isn’t that just nifty?

I knit in public when I can. It’s a good thing to do at the dentist or doctor’s office or while waiting in lines. Right now I don’t have any thing OTN that is portable. Gotta rectify that situation but these two WIP’s must be finished before I start another thing.
I checked the website; not KIP’s in NC :-(

I knit in public all the time! Never go anywhere without my knitting in one fashion or another. Small portable projects are great….socks, blocks, mits, etc..

I love knitting in public. I often take my knitting when the kids visit their favorite museums. Keeps my mind occupied while they interact with their favorite exhibits – over and over again. I always laugh when people say “Oh, I could never do anything like that while walking” I am always wonder tempted to tell them I can also walk and chew gum at the same time.
