I have been working on these and avoiding these for the past two months. Last night I was able to finish them up just in time for Christmas. Since we are now here in Virginia, Scott needs something warm on his hands. So, here are Scott’s Christmas Gloves…
Have been working on these for a couple of weeks now. Had to stop though because the 5” needles are hurting my hands…had to order some 7” dpns and am waiting for them to arrive to resume…anyway, here is my 1st pair for November:
Start date: November 1, 2009
Completion date: TBA
Pattern used: Candelabra by Chrissy Gardiner
Yarn: Cascade Yarns Heritage Solid
Needles: #1 US

I finally found the time to sit down and put together this pattern. The Atlanta Knitters Guild Secret knit-a-long took place in June, 2009. Since starting back to school I have not had time to do much designing or editing and so now it is November and the pattern, somehow, is complete and ready for sale.

I have another pattern in the queue and one in the head, so maybe I can stay motivated to get them out for you all soon. The next Secret of the Stole Knit-A-Long will probably be next year sometime, but I have no idea when. The two patterns that I have coming up are more narrow in theme and are really not suitable for a “world-wide” knit-a-long. There will be another one, I just don’t know when.

September 1st I challenged myself to knit a pair of socks a month following along with the Sock Knitters Anonymous group on Ravelry. Here are my October socks:
Specs:
Pattern: Having Hope
Yarn: Trekking Pro Natura (Dark Grey Color)
Needles: #1US
Started: October 1, 2009
Completed: October 31, 2009
Notes: This was my first complete project with cables throughout. It was a challenge and I learned lots of new things along the way. One thing I did learn was how to do a Vikkel Braid which I really like!
Time to move on to November’s Socks. Will post about those when I cast on.
