Starting Over on the "Way of Life" Stole

Category : Fiber Arts

Well, I started the stole pattern that you guys picked out for me.  Now I am restarting.  The recommended needle size for this stole is US 7 or 8.  I went against my better judgment and started with a US 7.  Way, way too big for my taste!!  So, I am going to restart with a US 4 and see what happens.  I’ll keep you posted.  In the meantime, here is the carnage, and a little Blazer sandwich to keep you distracted.  No animals were harmed in the creation of these photos.

I’m sorry you had to rip your stole, but I hope you are happier with the fabric that will be created using a size 4 needle. Your dog is so-o cute!! Makes me miss ours.

Giggle!!! A Blazer dogwich!!! I love it! Sorry you had to start over. But I know you and those tiny needles are joined at the hip, LOL!

Poor Poor Blazer! Although he doesn’t seem to mind having foam laying on him at all! Will be watching for a stole you enjoy knitting. Love those little stitch markers – where did they come from? g

I made the stitch markers. They were quick and easy to do and I had to have a way to keep track of the 15 repeats in this pattern. LOL

I’m glad to see that the goddess of lace has to frog her knitting and start over. LOL! Makes me feel so much better.
Don’t ya just love it when a dog is so comfortable with it’s person and in it’s surroundings to just let ya do anything with/to it?
You really should join our Dogs on Thursday group, DK. You’d love it.(and it would spread the Nautical Knitter around to more knitters, too…he!he!he!)
