Ooh, that looks so lovely! Camping on the beach; you're so lucky! I'm stuck out here in California, studying for the SAT's. Blech.

At least I have your beautiful stole to knit and admire! Thank you for the lovely comment you left on my blog. :)

I "see" your beautiful weather and I'll "raise" you one wood stove and a Sou'Easter. Truely? It's raining fit for Noah and blowing a gale. In my local "One Particular Harbor", it's a wee bit choppy right now. So it's not beach knitting but perhaps...wood stove knitting? (Sucked up to it like a cat in a sun puddle, I am!)
Mr. K has good taste but corn dogs rock too - especially with a dribble of mustard. Yummm. And to watch the dolphins? I'm jealous but then again, I get to watch the geese overhead. Ever notice how they look like lace patterns?
"...the cannons don't thunder, there's nothing to plunder..."

Ivy,
Yes, by all means snag a button! <a href="http://www.islandzephyr.com/blogs/nauticalknitter/2007/08/25/discover-the-secret-of-the-stole/" rel="nofollow">This</a> is the post that has all the buttons on it for you to choose from.

I am glad you are enjoying the pattern. I really love how it turned out myself. I can't wait to see all the finished stoles.

Enjoy, DK

Oooh. Dolphins. That sounds so wonderful. Wow!

Are participants allowed to snag the Secret of the Stole button for our own blogs? I can't tell you how much I totally adore that knitalong. The pattern is fantastic!
